- When cooking porridge, choose pumpkin of butternut varieties. Such fruits are tastier, more aromatic and rich in common varieties.
- A pinch of sugar will help add the taste of ordinary pumpkin pulp.
- Before cooking, try to bake the pumpkin in the oven first: this will make it softer and acquire a bright, rich, without herbaceous flavor.
- To make the pumpkin in porridge cook faster, finely chop the raw pulp or grate.
- Before preparing millet porridge, millet must first be rinsed in several waters, and then doused with boiling water. This technique will help remove the characteristic bitter taste of the cereal.
- To prevent milk from escaping through the multicooker valve, grease the bowl with butter before cooking.
- Not all multicooker is equipped with the Milk Porridge mode. In its absence, depending on the cereal, you can use the modes "Rice", "Buckwheat", "Groats". But it should be remembered that in this mode, almost all the liquid is evaporated, so the milk must be added at the end of cooking. In this case, only hot milk should be poured. Then the porridge needs to be boiled a little more and brought to readiness in the "Heating" mode.
- In most multicooker recipes, the volume of cereal or liquid is indicated in multi-glasses. If such a multi-glass did not come with the multicooker, use a regular glass, but keep in mind that one multi-glass equals 160-170 ml.
- For porridge, choose a bright, evenly orange pumpkin. Prefer sweet varieties. The sweeter and brighter the pumpkin, the tastier and more beautiful the porridge will turn out.
- Pumpkin goes well with many cereals. Most often, millet and rice are used to make porridge from it. But other cereals in porridge with pumpkin show themselves just as well. Replace the usual cereals with semolina, corn flour, wheat, pearl barley, barley, bulgur and get a new original dish.
