Every good housewife should be able to cook borscht. Not only according to the traditional recipe, but also many others. Therefore, I bring to your attention a delicious recipe for this first course.

- To prepare this dish you will need:
- 2 pork ribs with a thin layer of meat, 2 beets, 1 onion, 2 tbsp. l. 10% sour cream, 4 allspice peas, 1 small bay leaf, 1/4 tsp. marjoram, 3-4 tbsp. l. vinegar, 2 tbsp. l. flour, 2 liters of water, salt and pepper to taste.

Step 1
We start cooking with broth. Place the ribs in a pot of water. We wait until it boils and remove the foam. Add whole onion and spices (pepper, bay leaf, marjoram) in a special diffuser or canvas bag. Cook for a little over an hour, then remove the onion and spices. Cool the broth in the refrigerator, remove the frozen fat, then bring to a boil again.
Step 2
Peel and chop the beets, put in broth and cook for about 20 minutes. Pour in vinegar (borscht should taste slightly sour).
Step 3
Mix sour cream with flour, adding a little water. Slowly pour the mixture into the borsch, stirring constantly.
Step 4
Leave on the fire for another 3 minutes, never bringing it to a boil.
Step 5
Serve with sour cream. Top with a pinch of fresh herbs in a plate. Bon Appetit.
