Large onion - 1 piece
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Cottage cheese - 250 grams
Eggs - 2 pieces
Vegetable oil - 10 tablespoons
Baking powder - 1 sachet
Greasing yolk - 1 piece
Flour - 500 grams
Milk - 100 ml + 1 tablespoon for brushing
Cooking process:
Add 8 tablespoons of butter to the curd, as well as eggs and salt, then beat it all with a mixer. Next, you need to sift the flour and mix it with baking powder, a handful of flour must be left on the backing. We mix the curd mass and flour, knead the dough.
Next, finely chop the peeled onion, then fry it in oil until golden brown, then let the onion cool and mix it into the dough.
The dough must be divided into 12 even pieces, after which each piece is shaped into a "sausage" approximately 20 centimeters long. The resulting sausages need to be tied in a knot.
Then you need to put the buns with onions on a baking sheet lined with parchments. Next, the surface of the onion buns is smeared with a mixture of beaten egg yolks with milk. After greasing, the baking sheet with buns should be sent to the oven, preheated to a temperature of 200 degrees. Cooking time for onion buns in the oven is 20-25 minutes.
