Fragrant asparagus is a famous dietary product, especially rich in vitamins C and A. It is one of the earliest vegetables that can diversify the diet already in April-May. Delicate sprouts of green asparagus can be eaten raw, boiled quickly, or steamed. White asparagus will require slightly longer cooking. One way or another, both varieties of this plant can be an excellent filling for tasty and healthy rolls.
It is necessary
-
- 12 stalks of asparagus;
- water;
- long loaf with bran;
- knife;
- rolling pin;
- saucepan (double boiler
- grill);
- oven;
- a bowl of ice;
- 100 g of soft processed cheese;
- cling film;
- 3 tablespoons of grated cheese;
- grater;
- greens;
- 2, 5 g red pepper;
- vegetable oil;
- baking sheet;
- 2 heads of garlic;
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste (3 dried tomatoes)
- slicing red fish;
- toothpicks or buffet sticks.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse young asparagus shoots in cold water and cut off any tough bases. Green can be placed in boiling water or a hot steamer for 3 minutes, white - for 6 minutes. When boiling, add a small amount of sugar and salt to the water. If desired, you can hold the stems in the oven or grill them with a drizzle of olive oil.
Step 2
Your goal is not to exceed the cooking time of the asparagus (3 to 6 minutes) so that it retains its bright color and is slightly crispy on the inside. If you stick a fork in the middle of a digested shoot, the ends will hang down. There will be few useful substances in such a product.
Step 3
Take out the finished asparagus and place it in a container filled with ice cubes to help the plant retain its natural color.
Step 4
Cut the bran into slices, carefully cut the crusts off and roll each portion with a rolling pin.
Step 5
Brush the loaf slices with an even layer of soft melted cheese. For 12 servings, you should use about 100 g of cheese.
Step 6
Place an asparagus shoot on the edge of each bread mug and form into rolls. The dish should be wrapped in plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
Step 7
Rub any hard cheese into a bowl to make 3 tablespoons of the shredded product. Add fresh chopped herbs and some red ground pepper (no more than 2.5 g). Roll the finished asparagus rolls in the mixture and cut each into 4 parts. This dish can be a good breakfast for the whole family.
Step 8
Hearty rolls with young peeled asparagus sprouts can be prepared for any occasion as a warm snack. If you have time, bake the dish. To do this, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Step 9
Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and place the ham slices on top of it. Place 1-2 asparagus stalks in the center, roll the rolls and secure them with toothpicks.
Step 10
Mash 2 sprigs of parsley with a couple of heads of garlic. Add 2 tablespoons tomato paste or 3 dried tomatoes, vegetable oil. Stir in the mixture and place on rolls. Bake for 10 minutes.
Step 11
One of the simplest recipes for a quick holiday snack consists of just three ingredients: thin slices of red fish, soft cream cheese, and asparagus. Place a couple of boiled green shoots on top of the fish slices, roll up the rolls and secure them with toothpicks or plastic buffet sticks.
