  • -mayonnaise 2 tbsp. spoons

  • -salt, ground pepper, black and red paprika, herbs

Step 1

Boil the chicken fillet in a little water, the broth should be saturated. We make the sauce: dry the flour in a pan until golden brown, gradually stirring, add the broth. The sauce should turn out to be a homogeneous consistency, without lumps. Add a little butter, simmer for about 10 minutes. Boiled chicken fillet, cut into small pieces, salt and pepper. So that the chicken is not dry, put the chopped pieces in a low bowl, pour the sauce, and heat them together.

Step 2

Grate hard cheese and beat until smooth, along with mayonnaise. Mix one third of the mass with herbs and finely chopped garlic. You can choose which greens you like best to taste. Dill, parsley will do. You can sprinkle the greens with lemon juice, the taste will be more pronounced. One part with greens will be as an independent layer, the next two parts are added to the chicken layer.

Step 3

Cut the bread, cut from the crust, into five layers of the same thickness. The bread should not be soft, keep its shape. We make not deep cuts on each layer. These cuts will fill with juices from the filling, the cake will be juicy, not dry. Grease the bottom layer with cheese mass without greens, put half of the chicken filling on it. Then we alternate, on the second layer we put canned asparagus. Lay out the third layer of cheese mass with herbs and garlic. The fourth layer, like the first, is filled with cheese mass with chicken filling. Cover the top with a layer of bread.

Wrap the prepared semi-finished cake with cling film, put under oppression and refrigerate at a temperature of +6 degrees, in the refrigerator, for about one hour. Thus, all layers of the cake under the film are impregnated and acquire a piquant taste and aroma. The load, which is placed on the semi-finished product, presses all layers to each other. The cake is well cut into pieces.

Then we free the cake from cling film and decorate it, grease it with cheese mass from all edges, sprinkle with paprika and herbs. The cake is ready!
