If you want to surprise your guests for a birthday or New Year, then prepare an original very beautiful sandwich cake on the festive table. No one will remain indifferent to such a treat. The cake is best prepared three hours before the meal.

It is necessary

  • 16 slices of sandwich bread,
  • 250 grams of lightly salted salmon,
  • 5 tbsp. tablespoons of mayonnaise,
  • 150 grams of canned tuna
  • 2 cucumbers,
  • 450 grams of cream cheese
  • a little dill,
  • some ground pepper
  • some ground paprika.
  • For cake decorating.
  • 150 grams of bell pepper,
  • a bunch of dill,
  • 3 cherry tomatoes.

Instructions

Step 1

For the cake, take prepared pieces of toast bread, cut off the crusts.

Step 2

Form a square on a wide flat plate from pieces of bread. Lubricate the first layer of bread with a little mayonnaise. If desired, you can use sour cream (preferably homemade).

Step 3

Put canned tuna in a cup, mix with a tablespoon of mayonnaise and ground pepper until creamy. Grease the first layer of bread with the resulting cream (on top of the mayonnaise). We put pieces of bread on the cream, thereby forming the second layer.

Step 4

Divide the cream cheese into two equal parts. Mix the first part of the cheese with red paprika (add to taste) and ground pepper. Mix the second part of the cream with chopped fresh dill.

Step 5

We coat the second layer of bread with cream cheese and pepper.

Cut the cucumber into thin circles, which we put on the cream cheese. Lubricate the cucumbers with a little mayonnaise.

Step 6

Put the third layer of bread, which we grease with cream cheese with chopped dill.

Step 7

Cut the salmon into small, medium-thick strips. We put several stripes aside, we need them for decoration.

Step 8

We decorate our cake with bell pepper (cut as desired, it can be cubes, strips or rings), salmon strips (we form flowers), half cucumber rings, tomatoes and dill. We put the finished cake in the refrigerator for two hours. The cake should be cut in portions, but served on a large platter, so that everyone would take a piece for themselves.
