Ingredients:

  • 0.5 kg of minced pork;
  • 3 tbsp. l. millet;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 bunch of green onions;
  • 100 g of hard cheese;
  • 200 ml of water;
  • 1 head of white cabbage;
  • 4 tbsp. l. tomato paste;
  • 2 tbsp. l. sour cream or mayonnaise;
  • hops-suneli
  • black pepper
  • salt.

Preparation:

  1. Rinse the millet thoroughly. Wash parsley and onions under running water, dry a little and chop finely with a knife. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Cut the hard cheese into cubes.
  2. Put the minced meat in a bowl and knead well either with your hands or with a fork.
  3. Add millet, onions, herbs and spices with salt to the minced meat. Mix everything until smooth and set aside.
  4. Pour water into a large saucepan, place on the stove and bring to a boil.
  5. Take the head of cabbage, peel it from the top leaves, cut the head with a knife. Dip the prepared cabbage into boiling water and cook, separating the softened leaves behind. In this case, the sheets should be whole and without minor damage. Note that you need to cook the cabbage until the leaves are removed. Then throw away the rest of the cabbage, and just pour out the water.
  6. Spread a soft cabbage leaf on a plank. Put the minced meat on it. Adjust the amount of minced meat at your discretion.
  7. Squeeze a block of cheese into the minced meat and form a cabbage roll, be sure to bend the edges of the cabbage inward. Repeat this procedure until all ingredients are used up.
  8. Put all cabbage rolls in a multicooker bowl, add a little water and cover. Cook for 40 minutes at 120 degrees in multi-cook mode.
  9. In the meantime, you need to prepare the tomato sauce. To do this, combine tomato paste, sour cream and water in a deep plate. Season this mass with salt and hop-suneli, mix and pour over the cabbage rolls in the middle of cooking.
  10. At the end of cooking, cover cabbage rolls with a good handful of chopped greens, cook for another 5 minutes and turn off.
  11. Put the prepared cabbage rolls with millet and cheese on a plate, pour over the sauce and serve.
