Perhaps the combination of chicken liver with mushrooms may seem unexpected. In fact, these products are in perfect harmony, and tomato sauce complements them. This dish is suitable for both a festive table and a regular dinner.
It is necessary
- - chicken liver - 300 g;
- - forest mushrooms - 200 g;
- - onion - 1 pc.;
- - garlic - 1 slice;
- - tomatoes in their own juice - 2 pcs.;
- - dry white wine - 2 tablespoons;
- - wheat flour - 70 g;
- - ground paprika - 1 tsp;
- - vegetable oil - for frying;
- - greens - a bunch;
- - salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the onion, cut thinly into half rings. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil, put onion, save it over low heat.
Step 2
If you use frozen mushrooms, make sure that they are warmed up in advance. Boil fresh mushrooms for 20-25 minutes. Place the mushrooms in the skillet with the cooked onion.
Step 3
Peel and chop the garlic. Add to the total mass. Continue frying for 5-6 minutes. Pour 0.5 cups flour into a bowl, add salt, paprika and pepper, mix.
Step 4
Next, take care of the liver, rinse it, dry it a little and cut into 2x2 cm pieces. Dip each piece in cooked flour and place in a separate hot frying pan with vegetable oil. Cook on one side for 3 minutes, then turn the liver slices over, reduce heat and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
Step 5
As soon as the mushrooms acquire a beautiful golden color, mix them with the liver, pour in the white wine and tomato slices in their own juice. Heat the whole mixture for 3-5 minutes over low heat. Arrange the finished liver with mushrooms on plates, sprinkle with chopped herbs.
