The recipe for crab sticks appeared in Japan in 1973 and has not changed since then. A product is being prepared based on fillets of cod fish and has nothing in common with crabs. A salad using a crab stick ingredient is always trendy and simple.
It is necessary
- - 6 potatoes;
- - 3 medium carrots;
- - 4 boiled eggs;
- - 1 fresh cucumber;
- - 500 g squid;
- - 300 g of mayonnaise;
- - 200 g of crab sticks;
- - 1 clove of garlic;
- - 200 g of black protein caviar;
- - greens (dill, parsley) for decoration;
- - salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Boil squid (1-2 minutes), cool, peel and cut into strips. Boil potatoes, carrots and eggs. Coarsely grate the potatoes and carrots, finely grate the eggs and cucumber, chop the garlic (preferably young), cut the crab sticks in half.
Step 2
Lay the salad in layers, adding salt to taste: potatoes - mayonnaise; squid - carrots - garlic - mayonnaise; eggs - cucumber - carrots - mayonnaise; squid - potatoes - mayonnaise. The order of the layers can be changed depending on your preference.
Step 3
Spread the black protein caviar on top, decorate with herbs. Grease the sides of the salad with mayonnaise and cover with crab sticks. If desired, you can lubricate the layers in turn, mayonnaise, then sour cream, or even replace mayonnaise with sour cream. Decorate to taste. Can be laid out during cooking in the form of a dolphin or killer whale, it looks very original.
