For cooking you will need:

- squids - 1 kg;

- onions - 2 pcs.;

- bell pepper - 1 pc.;

- rice - 150 g;

- smoked sausage - 150 g;

- garlic - 4-5 cloves;

- tomatoes (in their own juice) - 800 ml;

- salt, pepper - to taste;

- olive oil - 4 tbsp. l.;

- sweet paprika - to taste.

Prepare the squid first: defrost them and then peel them. If you are using chilled squid, remove the tentacles and then chop them up. Onions (1 pc.) And 2 cloves of garlic, peel, then chop finely.

Take a deep skillet and heat 2 tbsp. l. olive oil, sauté the prepared vegetables, then add the bell peppers, chopped into thin strips, and continue sautéing for about 5 minutes. Next, you need to pour the tomatoes along with the juice into the pan and keep over low heat. You should also add salt and pepper to taste.

This will prepare the sauce in which the squid will be baked. Now let's prepare the stuffing for stuffing: wash and chop one onion, 2 more cloves of garlic. Take smoked sausages and chop them (you can use Spanish chorizo sausages or any other). Heat 2 tablespoons in a skillet. l. olive oil and sauté vegetables and sausages until golden brown, then remove from heat. Boil rice until tender and add to vegetables and sausages, salt, pepper and add paprika for taste and aroma, mix again.

Stuff the squid with rice and minced meat, fasten with toothpicks. Pour the tomato sauce and stuffed squid into a deep baking dish. Send the baking dish to the oven preheated to 180 degrees.
