You can use a mixture of ground beef and pork for this recipe. It is not necessary to add potatoes to the filling. Stuffed peppers are usually served with mashed potatoes or as a separate dish. The dish turns out to be hearty, juicy and very tasty.

- - 8-10 white peppers
- - 600 g ground beef
- - 1/3 cup rice
- - 1 large potato
- - 1 small onion
- - 2-3 cloves of garlic
- - 2 teaspoons of parsley
- - 1 egg
- - 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- - 1 teaspoon of spices
- - 1 teaspoon of salt
- - ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- For the sauce:
- - 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- - 2 tablespoons flour
- - 1 teaspoon red pepper
- - 1 teaspoon of salt
- - 120 ml tomato paste
- - 1 liter of water

Step 1
First, wash and dry the peppers. Next, cut out the stalks and remove the cores.
Step 2
Wash the rice and boil it for 5 minutes. Then strain.
Step 3
Cut vegetables into small pieces. Place them along with the ground beef in a bowl and sprinkle with spices. Then add rice, egg, parsley there and stir until smooth.

Then stuff the peppers with the prepared mixture.
Step 5
Heat vegetable oil (3 tablespoons) in a skillet. Fry the peppers on each side until light brown. Then remove the peppers from the pan and place them on a plate.
Step 6
Now you need to prepare the sauce. Pour the oil you used to fry into a saucepan. Heat this oil slightly, then add 2 tablespoons of flour and stir gently.
Step 7
Add red pepper and salt, stir for 1 minute. Then add tomato paste and water. Stir and let it boil. When the sauce has boiled, place the stuffed peppers in a saucepan.
Reduce heat and simmer for 45-50 minutes with lid ajar. The sauce should become thicker during cooking.
