    • 2 medium carrots;
    • 1 onion;
    • 2 tbsp tomato paste;

Step 1

Prepare the minced meat. You can use it ready-made or scroll it yourself through a meat grinder. The filling will turn out especially tasty if the minced meat consists of several types of meat. Pepper, salt, add spices.

Sort the rice, rinse and cover with hot water for 20-30 minutes.

Peel the carrots and onions. Wash two peppers and remove the stalk and seeds. Then grate the carrots on a medium grater, finely chop the onion and pepper. Put a frying pan on the fire, put the ghee (you can also use vegetable oil for this purpose), then pour the onion into the container. Let it brown slightly. Salt. Then add the grated carrots, chopped peppers and fry with the onion until cooked.

At the same time, prepare the peppers for stuffing. Wash them, preferably under running water. Then carefully cut the stem off. And, being careful not to damage the integrity, remove all the seeds.

Add the swollen rice, minced meat to the fried vegetables and mix thoroughly. Now fill the peppers one third with the resulting filling. Do not fill completely as the rice will increase in volume during cooking.

Step 6

Put butter or margarine in a saucepan and melt over the fire. Then carefully place the stuffed peppers in a container. You can - in several layers.

Dilute tomato paste with water and prepare tomato juice. You can also use ready-made juice. Salt. Pour the peppers so that they are covered in liquid. Put the saucepan on low heat and wait 30-40 minutes. The degree of readiness of the dish can be determined by the rice. It should be completely cooked and soft.

Step 8

If you don't like the peppers, remove them. To do this, pour boiling water over the pepper or boil it in water for several minutes. You can also bake it in the oven and then gently peel it off. But after this procedure, it will be inconvenient to stuff the pepper.
