This delicacy in iron cans was especially loved by children, both in regular and boiled form. There were many baking recipes based on condensed milk: nuts, waffles, cakes. A roll is made especially quickly from it. Even any housewife, even a novice housewife, can handle it. Another obvious plus of the roll is that it always turns out, it is impossible to spoil it. Prepare food:
- 2 chicken eggs;
- 1 can of condensed milk (380 grams);
- 1 cup flour;
- 0.5 teaspoon of baking soda;
- 0.5 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 2–4 tablespoons of jam or jam (for greasing);
- 0.5 teaspoon caster sugar (optional);
- 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional).
Prepare your kitchen utensils:

- Leveling spatula
- Baking paper or silicone mat
Preparation
Cooking the roll is quick and easy. Pour the whole can of condensed milk into the mixing bowl, add the sifted flour, beat in 2 chicken eggs. In a teaspoon, quench the baking soda with apple cider vinegar. Add the resulting sizzling mixture to the dough. Using gentle movements from top to bottom, pour out the dough until smooth. Its consistency is as follows: it should slide off the spoon.
Prepare a baking sheet by placing baking paper or a silicone mat inside it. Pour the mixture gently into the middle of the baking sheet. It will be great if all of it fits on the rug. In this case, the baked roll base will come off the baking sheet quickly.
Previously, there were no rugs, and such a roll was perfectly baked on a baking sheet, which was previously greased with oil. For baking, 15 minutes is enough at a temperature of 200-210 degrees. The top should turn light brown.
When the layer is ready, act quickly: remove it from the rug or baking sheet and immediately spread with jam. It will saturate the roll from the inside and connect the layers. Sprinkle on top with powdered sugar or cinnamon, sifted through a fine sieve.
Advice:
- The roll is hot, so use a tea towel or silicone mittens.
- Do not make the jam too thick, because it will be very sweet and the filling will creep out.
