It is necessary

  • Couscous with tangerines and honey
  • - 300 grams of instant couscous;
  • - 100 grams of pistachios;
  • - ¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon;
  • - 8 tangerines;
  • - 1 teaspoon of butter;
  • - 300 grams of fresh raspberries;
  • - 500 grams of thick plain yogurt
  • Croutons with chocolate and nuts
  • - 4 slices of white toast roll;
  • - 3 tablespoons of chocolate butter;
  • - 1 large chicken egg;
  • - 75 ml of milk;
  • - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract;
  • - 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar;
  • - 2 tablespoons of chopped hazelnuts;
  • - 1 tablespoon of butter;
  • - icing sugar, fresh berries (raspberries, strawberries, blackberries) and whipped cream for serving.

Instructions

Step 1

Couscous with tangerines and honey

Couscous is an instant product. This dish will not take you more than 10 minutes and will require the most basic culinary skills. If you know how to boil a kettle and cut fruit into slices with a knife, feel free to get down to business - you will succeed.

Step 2

Preheat oven to 200C. Place the nuts on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for about 5 minutes, until the nuts are golden brown.

Step 3

Place the couscous and cinnamon in a saucepan, grate the zest with 2 tangerines and squeeze the juice over the couscous. Add butter, honey and 200 ml boiling water. Cover and simmer for 3 minutes, then turn off the heat and leave for another 3 minutes under the lid.

Step 4

Cut the remaining tangerines into slices, peel them off. Whisk the finished couscous with a fork, adding half the toasted nuts, place on a plate and garnish with tangerine slices and raspberries. Place the thick yoghurt in the center, drizzle with honey and sprinkle the rest of the nuts over the entire dish.

Step 5

Croutons with chocolate and nuts

Croutons are a quick breakfast classic. With a “flick of the hand,” they can be quickly turned into a dish worthy of being served for breakfast to your loved one on this special day.

Step 6

Cut the crust off the toast bun so that you have four hearts of the same size. Spread thickly with chocolate butter on 2 slices, sprinkle with nuts and cover with a second slice.

Step 7

Whisk together egg, milk, vanilla extract and powdered sugar in a wide bowl. Dip the croutons in the milk and egg mixture for 1-2 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining crushed nuts on one side. You can wrap the croutons prepared in this way with cling film and leave in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

Step 8

Heat the butter in a skillet until lightly frothy. Fry the croutons on each side until golden brown. Place croutons on a serving plate, dust with powdered sugar and serve with cream and fresh berries.
