Pollock fillet contains a large amount of vitamins and minerals. It can be stewed, boiled, fried and baked. The last option is the most preferable, because fish cooked in the oven (with vegetables, in foil, with a creamy sauce) turns out to be less oily.
To bake pollock in the oven with a creamy sauce, you will need: 450 g of fish fillets, 500 g of potatoes, 200 g of red bell pepper, 250 g of spinach, 200 ml of sour cream, 300 g of soft cheese (any will do), 3 tablespoons each. olive oil and grated parmesan.
Peel and dice the potato tubers. Cook them until tender in salted water. Singe the red bell pepper over the fire until the skin is charred. Then skin and remove all seeds. Cut the bell pepper into strips. Dip fresh spinach in boiling water for a couple of minutes, then remove and pour over with cold water.
Take a saucepan and melt the cheese in it, and then add sour cream or cream, add grated parmesan and remove from heat. For the next cooking step, you need a heat-resistant ovenware. Coat the bottom with olive oil and lay the potatoes in layers, and on top the pollock fillet, cut into large pieces. Don't forget spinach and peppers, too. Pour everything with the resulting sour cream-cheese sauce and place in the oven, preheated to 160 ° C for 15 minutes. The finished dish should be served hot.
It is advisable to bake the fish with the selected "grill" mode.
If you have never baked fish with the original walnut-cucumber sauce, this recipe will open up new taste boundaries for you. For cooking you will need: 150 g of walnuts, 4 pollock fillets, a bunch of parsley, 3 pickled cucumbers, 4 tablespoons. vegetable oil, 3 tbsp. sour cream, as well as white and black ground pepper and salt to taste.
Nuts with pre-peeled cucumbers and herbs should be thoroughly chopped in a blender. Season the resulting mixture with spices and stir in sour cream. Take pollock fillet and cut it into portions. Rub the fish with pepper and salt on both sides before frying. Fry pollock in vegetable oil for about 2-3 minutes on each side. By the way, do not overdo it, as the fish should just brown and not fry. Coat the mold well with butter. Put the pollock, fill it with the prepared sauce and bake for 20-25 minutes in the oven preheated to 200 ° C.
You can use another interesting and simple recipe. To prepare pollock in foil, prepare the following products: 800 g fish fillets, a couple of onions, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, as well as 100 ml of mayonnaise, spices and salt to taste. Take a sheet of foil and fold it in half. Then rub the fillets well with spices and salt, sprinkle with peeled chopped onions and cover with mayonnaise. Wrap in foil, place in oven and bake for about 30-40 minutes. The oven must be preheated to 180 ° C.
In this recipe, mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream or natural yogurt.
If the above recipe is too simple for you, before baking, stuff the peeled and gutted fish with a mixture of finely chopped tomatoes and bacon. Only mayonnaise is not required in this case. Before putting in the oven, pour the pollock generously with vegetable oil, wrap in foil and cook in the oven at 200 ° C for 20 minutes.
