The most delicious and healthy pumpkins can be found only in the fall, during the harvest season. Pumpkin makes a very tender and tasty porridge with millet, cooked in a slow cooker.
It is necessary
- - 750-800 g of ripe pumpkin pulp;
- - 1 glass of millet;
- - 650 ml of milk;
- - 300 ml of water;
- - 1 tsp salt;
- - 3, 5 tablespoons of sugar;
- - 2 tablespoons of butter.
Instructions
Step 1
Millet must be thoroughly rinsed with cool water, change the water 4 times. Then pour boiling water over and leave to stand.
Step 2
Grate the pumpkin or cut it into small cubes. On a slow cooker, turn on the "Fry" mode, put a spoonful of butter. Pour in the chopped pumpkin and fry it for about 10 minutes, stirring regularly with a spatula.
Step 3
When the pumpkin is ready, put the rest of the ingredients in the multicooker bowl: washed millet, butter, sugar and salt. Mix water with milk and pour all the ingredients for porridge in a slow cooker. Stir with a spatula.
Step 4
Next, you need to close the lid and turn on the "Porridge" or "Milk porridge" mode on a slow cooker for 50 minutes. The "Multi-Cook" mode is also suitable for preparing milk porridge.
Step 5
After the time runs out and the multicooker turns off, you need to mix the pumpkin porridge with the millet. Then turn on the "Heating" mode for 40 minutes to make the porridge even more tender and tasty.
Step 6
When the "Heating" mode is turned off, the pumpkin porridge will be completely cooked. It can be laid out on plates and served while hot.
