A few secrets of the sour cream dough

The dough will work better if the food is at room temperature. So, cold sour cream mixes worse with the rest of the ingredients of the dish. Therefore, it is advisable to get everything out of the refrigerator in advance.

If there is no time, then sour cream can be warmed up in a bowl or glass by dipping the dishes into moderately hot water (not boiling water). The product must be stirred periodically. A microwave is not the best option.

Sour cream, slightly "outlived" the expiration date, can be used for the test. Of course, if she did not start to become bitter, smell foul, or strongly exfoliate.

Very simple sponge cake with sour cream

A quick universal recipe. Such a biscuit can be baked in the oven or multicooker, taking less than an hour to cook. And for the filling, whatever is found at home will do.

Ingredients:

  • sour cream - 1 glass
  • chicken eggs - 3 pcs.
  • sugar - 1 glass
  • wheat flour - 1-1, 2 glasses
  • baking powder - 0.5 teaspoon

You can also use vanillin.

For the filling, take apple slices, raisins or fresh berries: pitted cherries, currants, raspberries. Frozen berries are also fine. In this case, they must first be allowed to thaw. The volume of the filling is approximately one glass.

Better to start with the preparation of the filling. Rinse apples or berries. Wipe the apples with a towel, and sprinkle the berries or raisins on a napkin to dry. If you are using berries with seeds, then remove the latter.

Set the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Meanwhile, prepare the dough:

  1. Break the eggs into a deep bowl.
  2. Pour in sugar, beat until it dissolves.
  3. Add sour cream and stir well until smooth.
  4. Add sifted flour along with baking powder. Mix again.
  5. If you love the vanilla flavor in your baked goods, add this flavoring at the end.

Grease a slightly warmed dish with a thin layer of butter. Add the filling to the dough, stir and pour everything into the mold. Put in the oven for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown. If you use a multicooker, then cook according to the standard baking program.

Cool the biscuit before serving. If desired, decorate the top with powdered sugar sprinkles.

In this recipe, flour can be replaced with a glass of semolina, the end result is a delicious and satisfying mannik cake. Since it does not require any filling, the finished dish comes out very quickly!

  4. Add the rest of the flour and knead the dough. If it sticks to your hands, then the portion of flour can be slightly increased.

  2. Combine both parts by placing one on top of the other.
  3. Roll the two layers together into one puff roll.
  4. Cut the roll across into pieces about 1 cm thick. As a result, we get beautiful two-color spirals, similar to the shell of a snail.

Grease a baking sheet with butter, spread the future cookies at small intervals. Bake at 180 degrees for no more than half an hour.

Serve lukewarm or completely cooled. A great addition to tea, coffee or milk!

Cracker and sour cream cake

  • unsalted cracker - 600 g

  3. Prepare crackers. If the products are large, then they should be chopped into pieces. Small crackers (such as "Rybka") can be left as they are.
  4. Pour sour cream into a deep bowl, add granulated sugar and vanilla. Beat with a mixer until the crystals dissolve.
  5. Combine completely cooled jelly solution with sweet sour cream. Add crackers, stir well.

The dough is ready!
