300 milliliters of milk, 150 grams of hard cheese, 1 bay leaf, 20 grams of butter, 20 grams of flour, nutmeg on the tip of a knife, salt and pepper to taste

Rinse the onion, peel and cut into 4 parts. Rinse the bay leaf with boiling water.

Fold the onion, bay leaf into a saucepan and cover with milk. While stirring, bring to a boil.

After boiling, turn off the heat, cover the saucepan with a lid and leave for 20 minutes.

Strain the milk and discard the onions and bay leaves.

Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Add salt, pepper, nutmeg and grated cheese to the sauce.
