Puff pastry is more digestible than any other. Dishes made from it are hearty and tasty.

- 150 g butter
- 200 g flour
- 100 ml of water
- 200 g minced meat
- 3 small potatoes
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- salt, pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil

Instructions
Step 1
Melt 20 g of butter. Cool the remaining amount of oil. Sift flour, add salt. Pour in water and melted butter in a thin stream.

Stir lightly, then knead the dough. Place the dough on a floured surface and knead for 1 minute. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 40 minutes.
Step 3
Roll the cooled butter with a rolling pin into a layer 1 cm thick. Make a deep cross-shaped cut on the dough with a knife.
Step 4
Place the rolled butter in the center and fold the petals so that the butter is completely covered by the dough.
Step 5
Sprinkle flour on the surface of the dough, beat and roll the mass into a rectangle.
Step 6
Fold the rectangle 3 times. Press down on the edges and roll in the other direction again. Fold the resulting rectangle 3 times again. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 7
Divide the dough into two equal parts and roll it out across the width of the baking sheet.
Step 8
Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil. Place one slice of puff pastry on top of it.
Step 9
Peel potatoes, carrots and onions. Cut potatoes into cubes, carrots, onions, as small as possible.
Step 10
Spread the minced meat on the first layer of dough, evenly distributing it throughout the mass. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 11
Place the next layer of finely chopped onions and carrots.
Step 12
The third layer of the puff pastry is potatoes. After all the filling is laid, you need to salt and pepper everything again.
Step 13
Cover the filling with the second part of the dough. Use a simple pinch to secure the edges of the cake.
Step 14
Insert a baking sheet with a pie into an oven preheated to 180 degrees. After 10 minutes of cooking, brush the cake with a beaten egg. After another 20 minutes, the dish will be ready.
