This original appetizer belongs to Chinese cuisine. Green beans with muer mushrooms are prepared very simply, the taste is very unusual, but pleasant. You need to take muer mushrooms (woody black mushrooms) in dried form.

It is necessary

  • For two servings:
  • - 400 g green beans;
  • - 10 g of dried mushrooms;
  • - 5 cloves of garlic;
  • - 2 cm of ginger root;
  • - 1 hot pepper;
  • - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  • To fill:
  • - 2 tbsp. spoons of soy sauce, starch, cold water.

Instructions

Step 1

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, put chopped garlic, ginger and hot pepper in it. Rinse the beans thoroughly, cut into large pieces and also send them to the pan. Saute lightly, add a little water and simmer for 5-7 minutes under a closed lid.

Step 2

Soak the muer mushrooms in warm water for 30-60 minutes in advance, so that they become softer and cook faster. Rinse them with water, cut into large pieces, send them to the pan with the rest of the snack.

Step 3

Now you need to prepare the filling, it's very simple: mix soy sauce with cold water, dissolve 2 tablespoons of starch in this liquid. Cornstarch is traditionally used, but you can use potato or rice starch.

Step 4

Pour the prepared filling into a frying pan with green beans, stir, close the dishes with a lid, simmer for 5-7 minutes.

Green beans with muer mushrooms are ready, you can serve this Chinese appetizer hot or cold. It is also a good side dish for meat dishes. You can store it for several days in the refrigerator in a hermetically sealed container.
