This recipe uses chocolate spread, but you can use any jam instead. Then the pudding will turn out to be no longer chocolate, but no less tasty. Vanilla extract adds a delicate flavor to the dish.

It is necessary

  • - 1 loaf of white bread;
  • - 150 ml of milk and cream;
  • - 100 g of chocolate paste;
  • - 90 g butter;
  • - 4 eggs;
  • - 2 tbsp. spoons of brandy;
  • - vanilla extract.

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. While it is warming up, you can prepare all the ingredients for the pudding.

Step 2

Cut the crust off a loaf of white bread. Cut the flesh into 1 centimeter slices. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread, spread with chocolate paste on top. If you replace the pasta with berry or fruit jam - you get a completely different pudding, you can experiment with the "filling" for bread. It will turn out delicious even with ordinary condensed milk.

Step 3

Coat a ceramic baking dish with butter and overlap the bread slices with the filling facing up.

Step 4

Beat eggs with a mixer with milk, cream, brandy, vanilla extract to get a homogeneous mass. Pour slices of bread with it, leave for half an hour so that the bread is completely saturated with the egg-milk mixture.

Step 5

Chocolate vanilla bread pudding is left to bake - send the mold with it to the oven. Cook for 30 minutes at the indicated temperature. Serve the pudding right in the pan. It is delicious both hot and cold. You can decorate with fresh berries.
