Citrus candy is a surprisingly simple yet deliciously delicious treat that tastes like marmalade. Enjoy this dessert.
It is necessary
- - orange - 1 pc.;
- - lemon - 0.5 pcs.;
- - water - 50 ml;
- - sugar - 80 g;
- - semolina - 2 tablespoons with a slide;
- - nuts - 50 g;
- - sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, remove the zest from the surface of the orange and half of the lemon. Squeeze the juice out of the remaining pulp. You should get about 100 milliliters of it.
Step 2
In a small saucepan, combine the citrus juice, water, and granulated sugar. After mixing these ingredients properly, place the resulting mixture on the stove and cook it, after it boils, for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Pour semolina into the boiling liquid in a fairly thin stream. Do not forget to constantly stir the resulting mixture. Cook the mass until it becomes thick enough, that is, for 5-7 minutes. After the time has passed, cool it by removing it from the heat.
Step 4
Slightly fry the nuts in a skillet without oil, put them in a blender bowl and chop them into very small pieces. For the preparation of citrus sweets, you can choose absolutely any nuts.
Step 5
Pour chopped nuts into a warm semolina mass. Mix everything properly. As a result, you should have a fairly dense mixture. If it didn't work out for you, then add a few more nuts.
Step 6
Gently pinch off small pieces from the nut-semolina mass and roll them into spherical figures, the size of which is similar to the size of a walnut.
Step 7
Dip the resulting balls in sesame seeds, let them cool in the refrigerator. Citrus candies are ready!
