Kefir pies
What could be tastier than fluffy rich pies? The dough for them is flaky, sour cream, curd, kefir. For kefir pies, you will need 0.5 liters of yogurt or kefir, 3 dietary eggs, 1 teaspoon of soda and salt, 1 spoon of sugar, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, flour.
The flour is sieved through a sieve. Mix the ingredients and gradually add flour to them. Knead the hard dough, knead it with your hands and put it in the heat for 40-60 minutes for proofing. A curd filling of 0.5 kg of cottage cheese, 5 tablespoons of table sugar and 1 egg is suitable for such a dough. Kefir pies are fried in vegetable oil.
Yeast pies
The top of the culinary art is, without a doubt, yeast dough. There are many recipes for its preparation, here is one of them:
- 1/2 l of milk;
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- 3 eggs;
- half a pack of margarine;
- 10 g dry yeast;
- 1 kg of flour;
- salt and sugar to taste;
The yeast is diluted in warm milk, when it disperses, the remaining products are added to the mixture, the not too tough dough is kneaded, covered with a towel and placed in heat for fermentation. After two hours, the first kneading is done, after the dough rises a second time, you can bake the pies.
For yeast dough, absolutely any filling is suitable, for example, meat: 500 g of meat is cut into small pieces and stewed until tender over low heat, then it is passed in a meat grinder. Onions are fried in vegetable oil and put into minced meat. Spices are added - salt, pepper, rice is added if desired. Yeast pies are cooked both in the oven and in a pan.
Apple pie
Apple pie would be appropriate on the Christmas table. For the dough you will need: oatmeal - 80 g, lemon zest, flour - 250 g, milk - half a glass, butter - 100 g, soda quenched with citric acid, a little vanilla and salt. For the filling: apples - 3 pcs, sugar - 3 tablespoons, cinnamon. Hercules is ground in a blender into small crumbs, dry ingredients and softened butter are added to them, everything is mixed. Then milk is poured into the butter mixture, the dough is kneaded and put in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
For the filling, apples are rubbed on a coarse grater, sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. Take the dough out of the refrigerator, roll it into a thin layer, spread the filling on it, roll the dough into a roll, cut it into small pieces, fold them tightly into a baking dish, sprinkle with sugar on top. The cake is baked in the oven for 35 minutes at a temperature of 200 ° C.
