Boil the berries for about a quarter of an hour. Then remove them from the stove and refrigerate. Be sure to strain the resulting workpiece through cheesecloth.
Now you need to add vodka, sugar and citric acid to the broth. Stir the resulting mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved, bottle it and store in a cool dark place for 7-10 days. After the specified period, the tincture will be ready for use. By the way, it has a very beneficial effect on digestion.
Some housewives insist black chokeberry on brandy, not vodka. To create such a tincture, you should take 2 glasses of chokeberry, 2 glasses of brandy, 1 tbsp. honey, 2 tbsp. oak bast. The recipe is very simple. First, fill the mountain ash with cognac and then add honey and bast there. Pour the resulting mixture into bottles and leave in a cool place for about 2, 5-3 months.
Oak bast is the soft layer between bark and wood.
The tart taste of blackberry goes well with shortbread dough. You can make a great rowan and apple pie in just 50 minutes. To do this, you need the following ingredients: 300 g of good margarine or butter, 2 cups of wheat flour, 2 tsp. soda, 2 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice, as well as 2 apples and 2 glasses of sugar, a glass of chokeberry and 1 tsp. vanilla sugar.
Start by making the dough. Take flour, sift it and stir with a little sugar and baking soda. Remove the oil from the refrigerator in advance to keep it soft, put it in a deep bowl. Grind the butter and flour mixture until smooth.
After that, carefully sort the rowan berries for branches and rinse them. Place the rowan in a colander and wait for the water to drain completely. Dry it, crush it and mix with sugar. Wash and peel the apples, making sure to remove the core. Cut them into thin slices and drizzle with lemon juice. At the next stage of cooking, add rowan puree and vanilla sugar to the apples. Mix everything well.
Prepare a baking pan - line it with baking paper. Don't forget to grease it with oil. Place 2/3 of the dough in a mold and flatten. Then lay out the filling and cover it with the remaining dough. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and bake the cake for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
