Many people know this healthy and tasty salad. There are a great many recipes for its preparation, and many hostesses continue to experiment with ingredients to this day. This is a classic vinaigrette, the main components of which are carrots, potatoes, beets and pickled cucumbers. We will understand all the features of its preparation.

- canned peas - 4 tablespoons;
- vegetable oil - 5 tablespoons;
- green onions - 55 g;
- sauerkraut - 110 g;
- pickled cucumber - 4 pcs;
- potatoes - 6 pcs;
- boiled carrots - 3 pcs;
- boiled beets - 1, 5 pcs.
Instructions
Step 1
For a classic vinaigrette, peel and slice the boiled beets. Place the wedges in a deep plate. Peel and chop the boiled carrots, then add them to the beets.
Step 2
Boil the potatoes in their skins, cool slightly and cut into cubes. Add to the rest of the vegetables in a deep plate.
Step 3
To prepare the classic vinaigrette correctly, the pickled cucumber must be diced and the excess liquid drained. Sort out the sauerkraut, squeeze carefully. In case it is too acidic, rinse it with water and grind it. Add all the pieces to the vegetables on a plate. Next, add the green peas and very finely chopped onion.
Step 4
Season vegetables with vegetable oil, mix well. You can season the vinaigrette with classic mayonnaise or prepare a special dressing: rub salt with vegetable oil and dilute with 2% vinegar, mix with 1 tsp. mustard.
Step 5
You managed to prepare a classic vinaigrette, before serving, you can put it in salad bowls, sprinkle with green peas and onions. The dish is suitable for both a festive table and a regular snack.
