Beer belongs to one of the most ancient weak alcoholic drinks, which was consumed in Ancient Egypt. Today beer is in great demand in most countries of the world, which leads to its production in large volumes. However, not all varieties of this drink are of high quality and good taste.

Live unfiltered and filtered beer

High-quality live beer is made from natural malt, hops, special brewer's yeast and water. Moreover, many self-respecting brewers usually use water from artesian wells. Brewing beer is a multi-stage process that can last from 1.5 to 3 hours. But the result is a tasty live drink that has a slightly cloudy color due to the remainder of brewer's yeast.

The value of such a drink is that it has a fresh taste and contains useful substances. True, it is stored for a very short time - after a couple of hours, live beer begins to change its taste. And in a sealed state, it can be stored only for 7 days, after which it will already be considered expired. Live beer brewed in compliance with all standards is considered not only the most delicious, but also the most useful.

Such beer in Russia is most often sold in winter, when the demand for it is low. It can also be found in cafes, restaurants and breweries in the Czech Republic and Germany.

However, it is not profitable to produce it, so this beer is most often filtered. As a result of this process, the beer loses yeast residues and acquires a light amber hue. Such beer is stored a little longer - about a month, but already loses in terms of the content of nutrients unfiltered.

High-quality live beer is not cheap, because it is unprofitable for the manufacturer to sell it at a low price. The high cost, of course, is not a guarantee of excellent taste, but the cheap price should definitely make you abandon beer.

Pasteurized beer

To increase the shelf life of beer, producers subject the filtered beverage to pasteurization. This process involves heating the beer to about 80 ° C in order to destroy the microorganisms that can reproduce in it.

As a result, nothing useful remains in an alcoholic drink, but such beer can be stored in bottles and cans for several months. It is something you can often find on store shelves. For this reason, bottled beer is much more harmful than draft beer. In addition, there are a lot of bacteria on the bottleneck and even more so the can hole.

Too cheap beer, masquerading as filtered pasteurized, is made from water, alcohol and synthetic powder. Therefore, the desire to save money on such a drink in the hope of buying more can lead to very sad consequences, up to and including poisoning.

Dark and light beer

The quality of these two types of beer is about the same if the manufacturer strictly adheres to the production technology and uses natural ingredients. The difference lies only in the taste, since for dark beer the malt is roasted, therefore the color of the drink is more intense. And to obtain semi-dark beer, a mixture of roasted and regular malt is used.
