But lilac is not only a beautiful plant in itself, it is also extremely useful. Lilac flowers, both fresh and dried, can be brewed and used as a natural antipyretic, diaphoretic.

In flowers and leaves of lilacs, all antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant and analgesic properties are very pronounced.

It will also help with all forms of diabetes, stop and restore blood in case of uterine bleeding.

And with bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia, catarrh, tuberculosis - the first assistant. Evens out heart sounds, relieves sciatica, restores the menstrual cycle.

How to prepare this miracle remedy?

For 1 kg of lilac flowers, take 2 cups of sugar, 2 cups of water and a whole lemon with zest.

We collect blooming lilacs, thoroughly rinse the brushes with running water, fill with boiling water and cook for 10 minutes. Now add the sliced half of the lemon there, cover it with a towel or cloth and let it brew for half an hour.

After 30 min. We take out the brushes, add the required amount of granulated sugar to the resulting infusion and boil the mass over very low heat for about 20 minutes.

The bunches taken out of the infusion are rubbed with 5-10 drops of lemon juice and immersed in the "lilac broth" for 5 minutes before being cooked.

Pour the finished jam into prepared jars and roll it up like any other jam, be it cherry or strawberry. Turn the jars over and cover with a terry towel, waiting for the jam in the jars to cool completely.

The jam turns out to be fragrant, tasty and very healthy! It helps no worse than raspberry, and anyway better than pharmacy "chemistry".

By the way, lilac leaves are no less useful than flowers. Brewed as a tea, they can help treat malaria, diarrhea, stomach ulcers and whooping cough. Very useful leaves, it is a pity that they are not as tasty as the jam from the lilac flowers themselves, prepared for the winter!
