There is a very large selection of sweets in shops within walking distance, in kiosks, supermarkets and hypermarkets. And, it would seem, there is plenty to choose from, but the large assortment makes the choice even more difficult. Needless to say, not all manufacturers think about the health of consumers, and you cannot read the composition of all sweets.

It is necessary

  • 500 g dates
  • 100 g whole hazelnuts or almonds
  • 2-3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp. walnut, almond or sesame (for breading)

Instructions

Step 1

We prepare everything you need for sweets, connect the blender and get started.

Grind walnuts (seeds) in a blender to create crumbs. The nuts should not turn into flour as they will no longer be suitable for breading.

Step 2

We remove the seeds from the dates and immerse them in a blender, after which we mix them with cinnamon until smooth. Such a mass, without lumps and visible skins of the date, should contribute to good rolling into a ball, which will allow the candy to be molded, creating the same size and shape.

Step 3

We dress individual hazelnut or almond nuts in a date mass. For candies with hazelnuts, the shape of a ball is preferable, while for candies with almonds, it is better to choose an elongated oval shape.

When the candies are formed, it is necessary to roll them in walnut (almond) crumbs or sprinkle with sesame seeds.
