Step 1

Dry herring salting.

Gut 3 herring, rinse well inside and out. Pat the herring dry with a paper towel.

Mix 500 g of salt and 10 g of suneli hops. You can add dry dill greens to this mixture.

Rub the prepared herring with a mixture of salt and spices. Don't forget to salt the inside of the belly.
