In my house, there are cabbage pies on the festive table. I always bake them myself - I don't trust anyone. There are a lot of cooking options in my culinary notebook, and now I have added one more - with cabbage and chicken - yummy!

It is necessary

  • Dough:
  • - 0.5 liters of milk,
  • - 700-300 g of premium flour,
  • - 30-50 g of yeast,
  • - 250 g creamy margarine,
  • - 2, 5 tbsp. l. Sahara,
  • - 1, 5 Art. l. vegetable oil,
  • - a pinch of vanillin,
  • - salt on the tip of the knife.
  • Filling:
  • - 1/2 chicken
  • - 2 onions,
  • - 1 carrot,
  • - vegetable and butter,
  • - salt,
  • - sugar,
  • - pepper to taste,
  • - a small head of cabbage.
  • For lubrication:
  • - 1 egg yolk,
  • - butter.

Instructions

Step 1

Boil the chicken, separate the meat from the bones, chop. Chop the onions and carrots, fry in oil, add to the chicken.

Step 2

Chop the cabbage, fry in vegetable oil, combine with fried onions and carrots. Add salt, sugar and pepper.

Step 3

Prepare the dough in a sponge way. We take milk and heat it up to 35 degrees. Dissolve the yeast immediately, a tablespoon of sugar. Pour out the flour. You should get a semi-liquid mass. Cover the dough and put it in heat for an hour. Melt butter and margarine. Mix salt, sugar and eggs separately, pour into the dough. Then slowly add flour. Knead for about 20 minutes.

Step 4

Divide the dough into 2 parts. Prepare a pie from one part, and from the other, for example, bean pies.

Step 5

Roll out the dough in a layer of 0, 7-0, 8 cm, put in a mold, put chicken, cabbage with onions and carrots. Make flagella from part of the dough, put on the pie with a wire rack. Let it brew for 10-15 minutes, brush with whipped yolk, wait 5 minutes. and put in the oven. Bake at 180-200 degrees until golden brown. Grease the finished pie with butter.
