Pork is not too expensive and very tasty meat, suitable for a variety of dishes. It can be baked in foil or sleeve, fried, stewed in sauce, stuffed or steamed. To make the dish for dinner not only appetizing, but also healthy, you should choose juicy, not too fatty pieces: fillet, ham, neck.

Meat in the sleeve: the easiest recipe

Special roasting sleeves keep the pork juicy and eliminate the use of oil. As a side dish, you should cook young potatoes or stewed vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • 800 g pork neck;
  • 4 tbsp. l. soy sauce;
  • 5 cloves of garlic;
  • allspice peas;
  • a mixture of dry herbs (rosemary, oregano, thyme).

Wash the meat and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut the garlic into large wedges and stuff the pork. Grate a piece with dry herbs, pour over soy sauce and leave to marinate for 2 hours, turning from time to time.

Transfer the pork to a roasting sleeve, pour the sauce there. Tie tape and make several punctures with a toothpick. Place the meat on a baking sheet, put in an oven heated to 200 degrees and bake for 1 hour. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and leave for 10 minutes. If you open the sleeve ahead of time, the pork will be dry and tough. Cut the meat into pieces, place on a platter and serve with a side dish.

Pork "Stroganov"

The original version for everyday or festive dinner is Stroganov pork. Usually this dish is made from beef, but pork fillet is much more tender.

Ingredients:

  • 800 g pork tenderloin;
  • 250 ml sour cream;
  • 2 onions, cut into rings;
  • 2 tbsp. l. brandy;
  • 1 tbsp. l. butter and vegetable oil;
  • salt and ground black pepper;
  • a pinch of paprika.

Cut the fillet into cubes, fry the onion in half a portion of butter and vegetable oil. Put the roast on a plate, increase the heat, add the oil and half the meat. While stirring, cook it for 3-4 minutes, put it in a separate container and cook the remaining pork in the same way.

Mix both portions of meat in a frying pan, pour in brandy and keep on fire for 3 minutes until the alcohol evaporates. Add onion, sour cream, salt and pepper, bring everything to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for another 2 minutes. Decorate the finished dish with finely chopped parsley and serve with a glass of dry white wine. The ideal side dish is rice, noodles, or fried potatoes.

Pork with onions and apples

When deciding what to cook from pork, one should not forget about the meat baked with apples. They give a pleasant sour taste and additional juiciness.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg lean pork tenderloin;
  • 3 onions;
  • 3 apples;
  • olive oil;
  • salt;
  • ground red pepper.

Cut the pork into thin cubes, fry in oil until golden brown. Season with salt, pepper, add water and simmer for 15 minutes. Cut the onion into rings, peel the apples, remove the core. Cut the fruit into neat slices. Put the onion into the meat, mix, add apples after 5 minutes. Simmer everything under the lid until tender.

Sicilian schnitzels

An unusual, tasty and quick Mediterranean-style dinner for two. Schnitzels can be served with wine and toasted bread, and a fresh vegetable salad will be an excellent accompaniment.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pork schnitzels;
  • 1 onion;
  • 3 tomatoes;
  • 400 g of boiled mushrooms;
  • olive oil;
  • salt;
  • chopped basil;
  • freshly ground black pepper.

Pass the onion through a kitchen processor. Grate the schnitzels with salt, black pepper and onions, fry in a pan on both sides. Remove the meat from the pan and place in a warm place.

Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, remove the skin. Finely chop one and a half tomatoes, stew in a pan in schnitzel juice, adding salt and pepper. Cut the remaining tomatoes into slices and also lightly fry. Brown the mushrooms in a separate skillet. Put the tomato mugs on warmed up plates, place schnitzels and mushrooms on top. Drizzle each serving with freshly made tomato sauce, serve immediately.
