A big burger is nothing more than a big sandwich. However, a sandwich is not in the usual sense - a piece of bread spread with butter, or with cheese or sausage on it, but a McDonald's sandwich. That is, a bun, inside which the filling is placed. You can cook your own big burger with minced chicken for a snack, rather than running after it to a fast food restaurant. It will turn out no worse.

Ingredients

For the test:

- wheat flour - 500 g;

- yeast - 30 g fresh or 10 g dry;

- water - 150 ml;

- chicken egg - 2 pcs.;

- creamy margarine - 200 g;

- granulated sugar - 1 tsp;

- sesame seeds - 2 tsp;

- salt - 0.5 tsp

For minced meat:

- chicken breast - 1 pc.;

- onion - 1 pc.;

- carrots - 1 pc.;

- dried white bread - 1 slice;

- milk - 2 tablespoons;

- salt to taste.

Additionally:

- pickled cucumbers - 1 pc.;

- cheese - 200 g;

- onions - 2 pcs.;

- vinegar 3% - 0.5 cups;

- leaf salad in a pot - 2 pcs.;

- ketchup, mustard to taste.

You can use any cheese, but soft types of cheese (for example, Hochland) are considered ideal for a big burger. If, nevertheless, your choice is a hard variety, then it is better to buy a high-fat cheese (it is softer).

Kneading the dough

Sift the flour over a bowl through the finest sieve. If you are using fresh yeast, soak it in a little water with sugar and wait until foam appears, then you can stir in flour. If you are using dry yeast, follow the directions on the packet. Add eggs, softened margarine, water and white bread (croutons) pre-soaked in milk to the flour. Knead into a soft dough, cover with a clean napkin and let sit for 30 minutes. Poke the rising dough twice with a knitting needle or knife to lower it.

Minced meat

Cut the chicken breast into pieces. Peel the onion and cut into 4 pieces. Pass everything through a meat grinder, salt. Shape the patties and fry on both sides until tender. This usually takes no more than 10-15 minutes.

When forming cutlets, make sure that their thickness is no more than 1 cm. With such a cutlet, the big burger will keep its shape better.

Baking buns

Make buns. To do this, divide the approached dough into 10-12 pieces, shape them into buns (roll the balls). Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and spread the buns on it. Cover with a towel and let them rise. Sprinkle with water and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Then place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 200 ° C and bake for 20 minutes.

Formation of big burgers

Prepare food. Cut the onion into thin rings and cover with vinegar to remove the pungency and bitterness. Marinate it for 20-25 minutes. Cut the pickled cucumbers into thin slices lengthwise and slightly obliquely. Also cut the cheese into slices.

Cut the finished and slightly cooled buns horizontally into 3 parts (after all, we have a big, which means a big sandwich!). Place the filling on the bottom in the following sequence:

- lettuce leaf;

- a plate of cheese;

- chicken cutlet;

- ketchup;

- mustard;

- pickled onion;

- a slice of pickled cucumber.

Cover it all with the middle part of the roll and - layers again:

- a plate of cheese;

- lettuce leaf;

- cucumbers;

- chicken cutlet;

- pickled onion;

- ketchup;

- mustard.

Cover everything with the top of the bun. The big burger is ready. It is similar in size to McDonald's bigtests, with the only difference that the latter is formed with a beef cutlet. Preheat the big burgers in the microwave before serving to melt the cheese slightly.
