It is necessary
- - 50 g butter,
- - 100 g of white bread crumbs,
- - 1 small onion,
- - 2 eggs,
- - 100 g flour,
- - 100 g of peeled shrimps,
- - 2 tbsp. grated parmesan,
- - 200 ml of milk,
- - 1 tbsp. finely chopped parsley
- - a pinch of lemon zest,
- - salt and pepper to taste,
Instructions
Step 1
First, chop the onion finely. Chop the shrimp also finely.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a deep frying pan. Put the onion there and fry, stirring occasionally, until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
Step 3
Add flour and cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add milk in a thin stream, stirring constantly, then reduce the heat and cook the mixture until thickened, without stopping stirring, for about 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Remove mixture from heat, add shrimp, lemon zest, cheese, parsley, salt and a pinch of pepper. Mix everything thoroughly, transfer to a wide cup and let cool for about 13 minutes.
Step 6
Beat eggs lightly. Pour the bread crumbs onto a flat plate. Form the mixture into balls, each of which is dipped in eggs and roll in crumbs.
Step 7
Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan. Fry the balls in 3 passes, turning them 1 time, about 4 minutes per batch. Transfer to paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Step 8
Serve with warm capers and parsley.
