With the onset of summer, many people do not know what to do with themselves from the heat. Strawberry kvass will help to cope with it and quench your thirst. It's pretty easy to make. This is what I propose to do.
It is necessary
- - strawberries - 100 g;
- - water - 1 l;
- - sugar - 150 g;
- - ginger - 10 g;
- - dry yeast - 1, 5 teaspoon.

Step 1
For the preparation of strawberry kvass, you can use both fresh and frozen berries. If you decide to make a drink from frozen strawberries, then defrost them first.
Step 2
Pour dry yeast into a small loose bowl and cover with warm water. Do not forget to mix the water with a small amount of granulated sugar. Do not touch this mixture for 10-15 minutes. This is necessary in order for the dough to come up. Its readiness is easy to understand - foam will appear on top.
Step 3
Meanwhile, put the berries in a blender, then chop them until puree.
Step 4
Dissolve granulated sugar in one liter of warm water. Put the strawberry mass and ginger chopped with a grater there. Also add the yeast mixture. Mix everything thoroughly. Take a large dish for making kvass. This is necessary so that the liquid does not reach its edge.
Step 5
Cover the strawberry yeast mixture with a rubber glove on the neck of the glassware. In this state, leave the future drink in the room for two days.
Step 6
After the time has elapsed, strain the drink through cheesecloth or a sieve and put it in the refrigerator. Strawberry kvass is ready! Serve it chilled beforehand.
