An appetizer is a dish that is usually served before the main one. Snacks are classified as hot and cold and are made from a variety of foods: meat, fish, vegetables and fruits. Some snack foods are labor intensive, but others are quick and easy to prepare.

Spicy appetizer in lettuce leaves

To prepare a savory cottage cheese snack, you will need the following products:

- 200 g of cottage cheese;

- 1-2 cloves of garlic;

- 20 g of dill greens;

- 1-2 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;

- lettuce leaves;

- salt.

Rub the curd through a sieve. Wash the dill under running water and dry on a paper towel, then chop finely. Peel the cloves of garlic and pass through a press. Combine the prepared ingredients: cottage cheese, herbs and garlic. Season with salt, mayonnaise and mix well until creamy. Then place the cooked snack for 20-30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Wash and dry lettuce leaves. Put a small amount of filling on each and gently roll the sheet into a roll or cone so that the filling is inside, and immediately serve the appetizer to the table.

Pies with tomatoes and cheese

To prepare a hot snack according to this recipe, you will need:

- 400 g of thin Armenian lavash;

- 500 g of tomatoes;

- 600 g of cheese;

- 100 g of fresh herbs;

- 70 ml of vegetable oil;

- ground black pepper;

- salt.

Cut thin plates of Armenian lavash into 8-12 servings. Wash and dry the tomatoes, then cut them into thin slices along with the hard cheese.

On each portion of pita bread (closer to one of the edges) put the filling, first the cheese slices, then the tomatoes. Salt everything, pepper, sprinkle with finely chopped herbs, put another layer of cheese on top. Wrap the filling in pita bread and fry the resulting "pie" on both sides in a frying pan greased with vegetable oil. The cooked appetizer is served hot.

"Fairy Tale" snack

To make this delicious snack, you need to take:

- 600 g of freshly frozen red fish fillet (salmon, trout);

- 200 g of peeled shrimp;

- 20 g of red caviar;

- ½ cucumber;

- 1 tbsp. l. soy sauce;

- vegetable oil;

- greens;

- ground pepper;

- salt.

Cut the red fish fillet into cubes and fry in a pan in vegetable oil for 10-15 minutes. Then add the peeled shrimp, salt, pepper and fry with the fish for 3 minutes. At the very end, add chopped herbs and soy sauce.

Put the finished fish with shrimp in a bowl, tamp it tightly and refrigerate. Then carefully turn the bowl upside down on the dish. Garnish the prepared Skazka appetizer with red caviar and thin slices of fresh cucumber.
