Fried potatoes are loved by many of us. This recipe differs from the classic one by the absence of vegetable oil when cooking, which greatly increases the calorie content of potatoes and, in general, has a negative effect on health. Even children can eat fries from the oven, and it will serve as an excellent side dish for meat or salad.
It is necessary
- - 3-4 large oblong potatoes;
- - 2 eggs;
- - salt and paprika;
- - herbs and garlic (optional).
Instructions
Step 1
Potatoes must be chosen large and preferably oval and oblong in order to make the sticks long. Peel it and cut into cubes about 1 cm thick. Rinse the chopped potato cubes once with cold water to remove excess starch.
Step 2
Beat the eggs lightly in a cup, but not until they are very foamy. Add salt and paprika to them. Mix everything very thoroughly. Dip the potato pieces into the eggs in small portions, so that in the end they are all moistened with the egg.
Step 3
Lay a sheet of parchment on a baking sheet and carefully lay the potato slices on it so that they do not touch each other. If you wish, you can chop the dill very finely or chop the garlic and sprinkle the potatoes with them.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 200-220 degrees and put a baking sheet with potatoes to bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown, sometimes stirring the potato bars with a wooden spatula for even baking.
Step 5
Remove the finished potatoes from a sheet of parchment and serve hot with a salad of fresh vegetables or meat. Sprinkle lightly on the potatoes with grated cheese and make them standalone on the table. Cheese, tomato or sour cream-garlic sauces will perfectly complement the dish.
