Eel cooked in sauce is a popular dish in Dutch restaurants. The Dutch love to use hot fish sauces as a gravy for a variety of side dishes, and they often serve this dish for feasts where spirits are present.
It is necessary
- - sea eel (1 kg);
- - black pepper (1/2 tsp);
- - olive oil (50 g);
- - garlic (4 cloves);
- - sorrel (10 leaves);
- - red chilli pepper (1 pc.);
- - eggs (4 pcs.);
- - starch (2 tsp);
- - lemon (1 pc.);
- - dry white wine (200 g).
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the sea eel fillet into small pieces, salt and pepper. Heat a frying pan with olive oil and fry the fish on both sides. Put the fried eel out of the pan.
Step 2
Put chopped garlic, sorrel and paprika in a frying pan. Fry lightly.
Step 3
We take the eggs, separate the whites from the yolks. Beat the yolks with the starch and lemon juice in a blender. Pour the resulting mixture into the pan.
Step 4
Add white wine and put the fried pieces of eel in the sauce. Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
