Gato is perhaps the lightest French dessert. Even a not very sophisticated cook can handle it. Once you have tasted these gatos, you will not be able to forget the rich chocolate flavor!
It is necessary
- For 6 servings:
- - chocolate from 72% cocoa - 180 g;
- - butter - 120 g;
- - brown sugar - 150 g;
- - flour - 54 g;
- - large eggs - 4 pcs.;
- - a pinch of salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Remove the eggs from the refrigerator - their temperature should be equal to the temperature in the room. Melt the chocolate with butter in a water bath or in a microwave oven and also cool to room temperature.
Step 2
Beat eggs until frothy with salt and sugar. Sift the flour into a bowl with eggs, add the chocolate mixture there and mix until smooth.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Pour the dough into portioned silicone molds (I have rectangular ones) and send to the oven. If you want to impress your guests with a liquid filling - take out the dessert after 5 minutes, if you want fully baked products - after 7. If you bake in one large form, check the readiness with a toothpick: if it comes out dry, then it's time to take it out! You can serve it immediately or after cooling. Bon Appetit!
