Step 1

Wash 1 chicken leg, cut into 4 pieces. Take 2 dry, clean half liter jars. Place 2 chicken legs on the bottom of each. Peel 1 onion, chop finely. Place the onion over the legs. Add a few black peppercorns. Lightly salt the chicken. Peel 4 potatoes, wash, cut into small pieces and place on the chicken. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil over the potatoes in each jar. Cover the jars with metal lids from which the rubber bands have been removed or metal foil. Place the jars of potatoes and chicken legs in the cold oven. Turn on the oven and bring the dish to readiness at a temperature of 180-200 degrees. A delicious aromatic hot dish is ready.

To bake mackerel, defrost it, gut it and rinse it. Crush 1 chicken-flavored bouillon cube and rub the fish with it. Place the mackerel on a baking sheet and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake the fish for about 15 minutes. Then remove the baking sheet from the oven and pour the grease over the fish. If fat is low, add some vegetable oil. Continue baking the fish for about 10 minutes. Baked mackerel can be served either hot or cold. Mashed potatoes are well suited as a side dish.

Peel 0.5 kg potatoes and rinse well under running water. Cut large potatoes into pieces so that they are the size of a chicken egg. Place the potatoes in a saucepan, cover them with cold water and boil until tender. Do not forget to add salt to the potatoes during the cooking process. While it is cooking, wash 1 bunch of dill and chop finely. Peel and grate 3 garlic cloves. When the potatoes are boiled, drain the water from the pot. Add dill, garlic and 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise to the potatoes. Mix everything well, cover the pan with a lid and wrap for 10 minutes. During this time, the potatoes will absorb the aroma of dill and garlic. Serve salted herring with it.
