My husband is absolutely indifferent to sweets. The only delicacy he recognizes is creme brulee ice cream. So I decided to arrange a surprise for my beloved and prepared the dessert myself. The spouse was delighted, he boasted to everyone that his wife was a craftswoman!

It is necessary

  • - milk powder - 60 g,
  • - milk - 660 ml,
  • - sugar - 200 g,
  • - cream - 200 ml,
  • - corn starch - 1 tbsp. l.,
  • - coconut flakes -2 tsp,
  • - fruits for decoration.

Instructions

Step 1

First, let's prepare the caramel. In a saucepan, melt sugar (80 g) until amber. We heat 80 ml of milk and add it to the sugar in a thin stream, stirring continuously. Boil the caramel for 1-2 minutes. until sugar is completely dissolved, then remove from heat and filter through a sieve.

Step 2

Pour milk into a saucepan (leave a little to dilute the starch), add milk powder, the remaining sugar and the resulting caramel. We put on low heat and bring to a boil. We dilute the starch in a small amount of milk, then pour it into a saucepan and cook for several minutes until it thickens.

Step 3

Place the resulting mass in a deep bowl, cover with cling film and cool completely at room temperature. Put in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Beat the cream until soft peaks, combine with the chilled mass.

Step 4

We put in the freezer for 3-4 hours. Stir occasionally with a spatula. Before serving, sprinkle the ice cream with coconut and garnish with fruit to taste. Cream for ice cream should be used fatty - 30-35%.
