Peppermint has found great uses in home cooking. Salads are prepared with fresh leaves, they are added to vegetable soups, they give freshness to broths and hodgepodge.
Homemade cakes with mint acquire a special aroma: cookies, pies and rolls. A variety of vegetable dishes are combined with it: from tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and cabbage. It is used for seasoning potato and bean dishes. Mint improves the taste of sauces and gives a unique aroma to drinks: jelly, compotes, fruit drinks and cocktails. It is used to decorate cakes and fruit salads.
Mint tea has not only a refreshing taste and wonderful aroma, but also medicinal properties. Mint is used to flavor the second courses: meat and fish. We offer to prepare an original dish: lamb steaks with mint and garlic seasoning. Lamb can be replaced with veal or pork tenderloin.
Lamb with mint
Baked lamb products:
• 600 g of lamb, • 4 cloves of garlic,
• 90 ml of vegetable oil, • 1 tablespoon of dried mint seasoning, • black pepper, • salt.
Preparation
Cut the lamb into steaks. Cooking seasoning for meat. Chop the chives. In a bowl, combine vegetable oil, garlic, dried mint. Add ground pepper. Salt. Brush the lamb steaks with the cooked seasoning. Place the steaks in the tin, wrapping them in foil. Place the dish in an oven heated to 180 degrees. Bake the steaks in foil for half an hour. Then open the oven and unfold the foil. Then bake the lamb for 25 minutes.
