Shish kebab is a favorite dish for some people. And to eat it in nature, on a picnic in the forest or on a garden plot is a sacred cause. However, outdoor recreation can lead not to pleasure, positive emotions, but to food poisoning.

Instructions

Step 1

Take it as a strict rule: one of the participants in the feast should cook the meat for the shish kebab. You should not buy a semi-finished barbecue in the market or in a store, even if the seller swears by all the saints that it is completely fresh. You don't know who and in what conditions cut this meat, how the marinade was prepared.

Step 2

Be sure to soak the sliced meat in the marinade for at least a few hours (or better, at least a day, this will only make the shish kebab tastier and juicier). The composition of the marinade must necessarily include vinegar, lemon juice or (for an amateur) kefir. An acidic environment is detrimental to most pathogens. Many types of spices also have good disinfecting properties, for example, pepper (black and red), thyme, and turmeric. You can also add them to the marinade.

Step 3

Chop the meat before marinating in medium pieces. Small pieces will quickly be fried to the full thickness, and if the one who fries the kebab is distracted from cooking at least for a while, the meat will become tough and tasteless. Too large pieces are poorly soaked with marinade and fried, areas with blood may remain in the middle, and this is fraught with poisoning.

Step 4

Practice good personal hygiene during a picnic. For some reason, at home, few people forget to wash their hands before going to the table, but in nature this is neglected. Remember the saying: "Dysentery is a disease of dirty hands"! If there is no centralized water supply at the dacha, do not rinse your hands from the irrigation barrel, and even more so, in the nearest reservoir. Bacteria there are a dime a dozen. Wipe your palms with special disinfectant wipes or pour on them from a container with drinking water.

Step 5

Use disposable tableware. If you need to leave the table without finishing your portion, be sure to cover the plate with a lid or cling film. Do not forget that flies fly in warm weather, and they are carriers of any infection.

Step 6

You should not take a side dish in the form of salads seasoned with sour cream or mayonnaise with the kebab. In the heat, they quickly deteriorate. Better take cucumbers, tomatoes and herbs.
