The pie according to this recipe turns out to be very tender, airy, sweet and at the same time sour. It is prepared without water, milk and kefir; yeast is also not needed. It is better to take the eggs out of the refrigerator in advance so that they are at room temperature. They are broken into a deep bowl and mixed with a whole glass of sugar, then whisked with a whisk to create a lush and strong foam.

In a small glass, quench the soda with vinegar and add the mixture to the eggs, mix gently. The flour is sifted well (it is advisable to do this several times), and then added to the rest of the ingredients along with a pinch of cinnamon, stir slowly, but until a homogeneous mass is obtained. In consistency, it should resemble thick sour cream.

Step 3

Before cooking fruits and berries, turn on the oven so that it has time to warm up well. Apples are cut into thin slices and spread on the bottom of the mold, currant berries are poured onto them. And pour the dough on top and wait for it to be distributed in an even layer. The cake is baked in the oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes. And when the baked goods have cooled down, sprinkle with powdered sugar. By the way, this cake can be made with other sweet fillings: cherries, blackberries, raspberries, any jam, etc.
