  • - 225 g of sugar;
  • - 250 g of almonds;
  • - 2 eggs + 1 small (for greasing);
  • - 3.5 g dry yeast;
  • - 5 g vanilla sugar;
  • - zest of half a lemon;
  • - 50 g butter;
  • - 25 g of honey.

Instructions

Step 1

All ingredients should be at room temperature, so we get eggs and butter in advance. Sift flour into a large container and mix with yeast. In the middle of the mixture, make a depression and break the eggs into it. Knead the dough with a wooden spatula.

Step 2

Now it's time to add the zest of half a lemon, soft butter, sugar and mix thoroughly. Pour in the almonds, stir again and pour the mixture onto a special mat for working with dough or onto a large cutting board.

Step 3

Knead the tough dough: it should easily gather into a ball. This is a very painstaking work, you may need a scraper, as well as a small amount of flour. We divide the ball into 3 parts and roll each into a "sausage".

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line the baking sheet with baking paper. We transfer the blanks to a baking sheet, grease them with an egg and send them to bake for 25 minutes.

Step 5

Allow the future liver to cool slightly and cut it (preferably with a special bread knife) with sawing movements into slices of medium thickness. Spread in slices up on the same baking sheet and return to the oven for 10 minutes. Cool completely and store in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
