The crispy tortilla with spicy filling is a great Mexican-style treat. And if you are not a fan of spicy, replace goat cheese with any other soft cheese. This dish can also be prepared with turkey or beef.

It is necessary

  • - 400 g chicken breast fillet;
  • - 200 g of goat cheese;
  • - 1 bunch of green onions;
  • - 2 cloves of garlic;
  • - 2 tbsp. spoons of chopped fresh coriander and sprigs for decoration;
  • - 8 tortilla cakes;
  • - 1 egg white;
  • - lemon wedges for decoration;
  • - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sweet chili sauce;
  • - juice of 1 lime;
  • - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of sunflower oil.

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the onion into rings, crush the garlic cloves. Chop the chicken. Chop the cheese in a bowl, put the onion, garlic, coriander, chicken and chili sauce there, add lime juice. Mix well.

Step 2

Divide the resulting mass by all tortillas. To do this, gently spoon an equal amount of filling into the center of each tortilla, leaving some free space around the edges to fold and “seal” them. Lubricate the edges of the cakes with protein, fold in half and press down until they stick together.

Step 3

Lubricate a large skillet with half the oil. Fry half of the tortillas for 5 minutes on each side until brown. Transfer to an ovenproof dish, cover, and reheat in the bottom of the oven while the rest of the tortillas are cooked. Serve garnished with coriander and lime wedges.
