Fresh vegetable salad is the best side dish for any meat or fish dish. It contains a lot of vitamins, and most importantly, fiber. Vegetable salad is a great addition and decoration to any table.
It is necessary
- - 3 slices of rye bread or 150-200 g of ready-made crackers;
- - 2-3 cloves of garlic;
- - 1 large pepper;
- - 1 head of onion;
- - 1 large cucumber;
- - 200 g of white cabbage;
- - 2 tomatoes;
- - 2-3 stalks of dill;
- - 2-3 stalks of cilantro;
- - 2-3 stalks of parsley;
- - 150 ml of mayonnaise;
- - salt;
- - ground black pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
First you need to prepare crackers. To do this, cut the bread into small cubes, put them on a baking sheet, previously covered with parchment paper. Send the baking sheet to an oven preheated to 250 degrees for 5 minutes. After the time has elapsed, stir the crackers and leave for another 5 minutes in the oven turned off.
Step 2
Rinse vegetables, remove excess moisture from them. Then cut the cucumber, pepper, tomatoes, onion into half rings. Place prepared ingredients in a salad bowl. Chop the cabbage into strips as thin as possible and also send to the salad bowl. Finely chop the dill, parsley and cilantro with a knife.
Step 3
Grate the garlic on a fine grater and put together with the herbs in a container where the remaining ingredients are already located. Put 100 grams of cooked crackers there. Season the salad with mayonnaise, add salt and ground pepper to taste. Stir all the ingredients and let the salad brew for a few minutes so that the crackers are soaked in vegetable juice and mayonnaise. Serve the prepared salad to the table.
