Step 1
Wash the chicken fillet and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut it into thin strips. Peel a small piece of ginger about 3 cm long and chop finely. Peel 3 large cloves of garlic and crush them with the flat side of a knife.
Step 2
Wash the bell pepper, peel it of the stalk and seeds. Cut it into strips the same size as the chicken. Peel a large onion and cut it into thin half rings. Prepare the mushrooms. Wash them, towel dry and cut into slices.
Step 3
Prepare the sauce. Combine rice vinegar, soy sauce, and honey in a bowl. Mix thoroughly until smooth. Set him aside.
Step 4
Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Fry chicken pieces in 3-4 batches until golden brown. one batch should be fried very quickly, literally a couple of minutes. Place the fried chicken on a plate.
Step 5
Put the garlic in the oil in which the chicken was fried; when the smell begins, add pieces of ginger there. fry them for about half a minute, stirring constantly. then add mushrooms and onions to the wok. Stir the mixture and cook for about 3 minutes more.
Step 6
Add the sliced peppers to the vegetables. Roast everything for 2 minutes. Then add the chicken to the wok, add the prepared sauce and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
Step 7
Chop the basil finely and sprinkle it over the dish a few minutes until tender.
