Mix the butter with water and slowly pour this mixture into the groove in the flour, kneading the dough with the other hand.
Leave the resulting soft dough on a floured table, covered with a bowl, for at least 30 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the filling. To do this, fill the mung bean with water and cook until soft. This will take about 20 minutes or more. Cool the mash a little. In the meantime, peel and finely grate the onions, mix with the prepared mash, salt and season to taste.

Sprinkle the table with starch. This should be done so that the dough rolls out more easily, does not stick or break. Divide the dough into 30 - 32 parts. Roll each into an oblong cake. Roll thinly until transparent.
Place the filling on one of the narrow sides of the flat cake with a tablespoon. Brush the rest of the free part with melted butter. Fold up the side edges and roll into a tight roll.
Step 4
Put the rolls prepared for baking on a dry baking sheet, grease the surface of the rolls with melted butter, and, if desired, sprinkle with kalindzha or sesame seeds.
Preheat the oven to a temperature of 200 degrees and bake the bereki pies for 15 - 20 minutes.
