Beans can be used to prepare not only savory dishes, but also delicious and healthy desserts. The main component of the dessert is white beans - a rich source of easily digestible vegetable protein, calcium and phosphorus, iron and magnesium, potassium and selenium, as well as B vitamins. Beans retain their vitamin C during prolonged heat treatment.

- - icing sugar - 150 g;
- - agar-agar - 4 tsp;

Step 1
To prepare sweets, rinse the beans, cover with cold water and leave overnight. Drain the liquid, rinse the beans again, cover with fresh cold water and cook for an hour after boiling over medium or low heat. The beans should be well boiled, and the liquid should be almost completely absorbed.
Step 2
Wipe the beans with a blender and beat with the powdered sugar.

Dissolve agar-agar powder in cold water, put on medium heat, bring to a boil and cook, stirring occasionally, for five minutes. Or follow the instructions on the package. Agar-agar flakes require preliminary soaking for 20 - 30 minutes, but after soaking they need to boil for only 1 minute. You will need a little more flakes than powder. Agar-agar is a gelling agent made from some types of algae. In addition to its gelling properties, agar-agar is also distinguished by its properties beneficial to the body. This is primarily due to the rich vitamin and mineral composition of algae, which is represented by such micro-macroelements and vitamins as iron, iodine, calcium, zinc, magnesium, B vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids. Also, agar agar is a mild natural laxative and helps burn fat. Thus, this substance is very useful not only for health, but also for the figure.
Step 4
Pour the prepared agar-agar solution in a thin stream into the bean puree, without stopping whipping. Beat the mixture until it thickens enough and begins to separate from the walls of the pan.
Step 5
Transfer the mashed potatoes to molds, having previously covered them with cling film. Smooth out the mass and refrigerate for 1 - 2 hours to harden. Then transfer the dessert to a platter, cut into portions and serve with tea or coffee.
Step 6
You can garnish the bean dessert with syrup, sweet sauce, or sprinkle with grated nuts or coconut.
