Beans are considered an ideal source of protein and amino acids. It goes well with many products as it has a neutral taste. Beans can be cooked with any meat, raw and boiled vegetables, seafood, and also used in salads.
Salad with beans and fresh cucumbers
Ingredients:
- canned beans, 400 grams;
- fresh cucumber, 2-3 pcs.;
- rye crackers, 1 small pack;
- greens;
- salt, pepper if desired;
- mayonnaise.
Drain the beans from the jar and place the beans in a dish. Cut the cucumbers into small cubes and add to the beans.
Chop the greens and combine with all the ingredients already prepared. Salt and pepper if desired, mix with mayonnaise.
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
Crackers should be added only before serving, otherwise they will turn into porridge and lose their taste in the dish.
Canned Beans and Pineapple Salad
Beans go well even with fruits, which give the salad an original, slightly sweet taste.
Ingredients:
- canned beans, 400 grams;
- rice, 200 grams;
- canned pineapples, 200 grams;
- sweet pepper (Bulgarian), 1 pc.;
- celery, 1-2 pcs.;
- cheese (preferably Dutch), 200 grams;
- salt, pepper if desired.
Boil the rice in advance. Lightly salt the water when cooking rice. Place the rice in a colander and rinse under running water. Wait for the water to drain completely. Add diced pineapples to the rice in a deep bowl.
Pineapples must be taken out of the jar in advance and allowed to lie in a colander for 10 minutes to drain the juice.
Wash the bell pepper, free it from the seeds and chop it into cubes too. Finely chop the celery and put it together with the pepper into a dish with rice. Drain the beans from the jar and add the beans to all the foods in the dish. Cut the cheese into cubes. Salt and pepper the entire resulting mass if desired, mix everything together well.
Beans and smoked sausage salad
Ingredients:
- any smoked sausage, 200-300 grams;
- canned beans, 400 grams;
- onion, 1 pc.;
- garlic, 1 wedge;
- sweet bell pepper, 4 pcs.;
- vinegar 9%, 3 tbsp. spoons;
- sunflower oil, 4 tbsp. spoons;
- greens;
- salt, pepper if desired.
Rinse canned beans in running water, place them in a deep dish. Season with salt, then add vinegar and crushed garlic. Mix everything with vegetable oil and herbs. Let the mixture steep a little for about half an hour, but for now, cut up the other salad ingredients.
The sausage can be cut into strips or cubes, as you like. Remove the seeds from the bell pepper and cut into small cubes. After the beans are infused, mix all the ingredients and serve the salad to the table.
